The Wolverine. The photo features Hugh Jackman inside a certain cave while the poster is something more familiar.
Though a lot of fans are confused by this photo. I for one thinks that it is completely possible. Despite the fact that it is already announced that the movie is set as a sequel to all X-Men movie, this particular scene could be a flashback, hallucination or even a dream sequence. There are a lot of possibilities. Hell they can even use the story arc when Logan lost his adamantium. It may sound crazy but I'll reserve my judgement until I see the final product.
Ok looks familiar? Ok I'll refresh your memories.
The image above is from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Yeah I know it is a generic Wolverine pose. But then again why recycle? On the other hand, I like that they use a brush painting style. I don't know if people will take that as a hint for Japan but most probably all that they can see is the promotional image from the last movie. Wolverine is becoming too boring now so what I think 20th Century Fox must do is to be more creative. And yes, that includes marketing efforts because I can see a good movie on this but if the Marketing continues releasing this boring materials, it will have a bad effect on the film. Looking forward to see more.
Opening in July 25, 2013 in Philippine cinemas, The Wolverine is from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.
