This is one of the videos shown to us during the exclusive sneak peek of the film 2 weeks ago. Here are two versions of the same trailer played side-by-side. Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles New Poster, Trailer and Sneak Peek Details

Last night, a few fortunate souls (some press and bloggers) got the chance to see an early 20 minute sneak peek of Erik Matti's upcoming horror-action-survival film, Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles. We are invited on a close door event at the Post Manila office to to have a first look of the movie. Of course we are not allowed to take photos and videos so I'll try to share some details about it.

Reality Entertainment and Agosto Dos Productions released a new viral video that features behind the scenes and production clips from the movie Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles.  The video also includes commentaries and stories from Erik Matti (director), Dondon Monteverde (Producer), Dingdong Dantes (Lead Actor/Producer) and Dave Yu (VFX Supervisor).  Watch the video after the jump.

Erik Matti Unleashes Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles

I first encountered "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles" during the Summer Komikon months ago.  To be honest I don't have any idea about the movie before Komikon and I never saw any previews.  But what really caught my interest is Erik Matti.  True that he got some low points on his career with such titles like "Rounin", "Gagamboy", and "Exodus" to name a few.  But he do have more projects that makes him one of the top names in local fantasy and horror genre.  Such films like "Pedro Penduko: Episode 2", "Magic Temple", and "Magic Kingdom".  Now he is back armed with another tale bringing us to the roots of our local horror-fantasy heritage.  Here comes, "Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles".
