Waking Up in Vegas: The Hangover Movie Review

Doug (Hustin Bartha) is 2 days away from his wedding when friends Phil (Bradley Cooper) and Stu (ED Helms) together with his soon to be Brother-in-law Alan (Zach Galifianakis) decided to have a road trip to Vegas for his Bachelor Party. But after waking up in the morning, Phil, Stu and Alan are left puzzled when they can't hardly remember everything that happened last night. And the important problem is... Doug the Groom is missing.

To solve the mystery, the three tried to remember all the events that unfold the night before by looking for clues and retracing every single details that they found. But as truth unfolds. more crazy stuffs are revealed that only proves some guys just can't handle Vegas.

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Legendary Pictures, a Green Hat Films Production of a Todd Phillips Movie: “The Hangover,” starring Bradley Cooper (“He’s Just Not That Into You”), Ed Helms (“The Office”), Zach Galifianakis (“What Happens in Vegas”), Heather Graham (“Baby on Board”), Justin Bartha (the “National Treasure” films) and Jeffrey Tambor (“Arrested Development”). The film is directed by Todd Phillips (“Old School”) from a screenplay by Jon Lucas & Scott Moore (“Four Christmases”). Todd Phillips and Dan Goldberg (“Old School”) produce, with Thomas Tull (“Watchmen”), Jon Jashni (“Observe and Report”), William Fay (“Observe and Report”), Scott Budnick (“School for Scoundrels”), Chris Bender (“American Pie,” TV’s “Kyle XY”) and J.C. Spink (“Kyle XY”) serving as executive producers.

The movie is a hilariously brilliant. A very light comedy that tackles a serious issue of alcoholism, gambling, marriage and prohibited drugs. The movie is crazy and feel good. No dull moment and I found myself laughing my lungs out. Though I can't really recommend the film to kids, those at the age of 15 and up should see this to know what happens to those who take drugs or get too drunk specially on a place like Vegas.

So to everyone, buckle up with your friends and have a joyride this August 12, 2009 when The Hangover hits the local cinema. Check your local theater for the schedules or check the official site for more infos about the movie.
