Kris Lawrence known to be the Heart of Philippine R&B just released his latest album under MCA Music titled Moments of Love. The album consists of 11 immortal love songs and 1 original composition all performed with adult sensual contemporary R&B style.



Because of his new album, Kris Lawrence gave a free mini concert last June 20, 2009 at the Eastwood Central Plaza. We are lucky to have the chance to catch him perform his songs together with some collaboration with other artist such as Jay-R (Right Here Waiting) and Denise Laurel (I Will Take You Forever).



Other than his signature Fedora hats and slick outfits, Kris had finally showcased his talent on piano that he didn't do that often before when he starts his career as a professional singer. Even before he learned to sing, Kris is already a piano prodigy which leads him to his love of music. He is currently a regualr in GMA 7's SOP where he is given the chance to perform with a baby grand piano as his main instrument.






After listening to Kris Lawrence's album, I can't help but sing with him because most of the songs included on it are my favorites such as "Just Tell Me You Love Me", "Now and Forever" and the ever so controversial song "Careless Whispers". Thanks to him, his version of "Careless Whispers" purifies the song from its involvement in a recent controversy in showbiz.



The verdict. The album is a must have. If you like 80's music with a touch of sensuality, Kris Lawrence "Moments of Love" is the right album for you.
