T-Bag on Heroes Season 4

I'm very sure that Heroes fans are very excited to know some tidbitz about the upcoming season especially new characters that would be joining the cast lineup. So here is one update.



Heroes and Prison Break Fans will be united this next season for Robert Knepper aka T-Bag is joining the Heroes cast lineup next Season. The actor will appear in at least six episodes of the series' fourth season as Samuel, a charismatic but evil man with a twisted sense of humor, who will veer into the lives of all the heroes. So the well loved villain from Prison Break will be going back again as an evil persona in Heroes. Good news right?

I'm so excited for the new Season.

Heroes Season 3 Behind the Scene Teaser

NBC had released yet another teaser for the upcoming Season of Heroes. It means we could be getting a treat from Heroes before it premieres in September.

I like Kristen Bell's new look. She looks more electrifying. Can't wait to watch this series again. Yeehhaaa!!!

Heroes Volume 3: Villains First Teaser

After almost 5 months NBC had already released a very simple but quite intriguing teaser. In the teaser five from the main protagonist of the series are randomly labeled with "heroes" and "villains". Now I'm really getting excited for the next chapter of Heroes.

And wait? Did that teaser say 3 hour Premiere.

Heroes Renewed for 2008 4th Quarter Comeback

It was reported that our favorite NBC Sci-fi drama Heroes will soon comeback to our screens. Since the Writer's Strike is already over it is really natural that canceled tv shows will soon resume on telecast. NBC co-chairman Ben Silverman announced that Heroes will be renewed for a Season 3 relaunch this coming 4th quarter of 2008. This is contrast to the statement of Tim Kring before that Season 2 will continue with Volume 3 titled Villians.

All of us fans are glad to hear this news. I hope Heroes is back for good.

Heroes Season 2 Finale : Powerless

I hate to admit it but the current status of the Writer's Strike is really inevitable. This monday, Heroes will reach its 11th episode and the season titled Generations will come to an end.

Episode 11 : Powerless

Peter and Nathan Petrelli are reunited, but a battle erupts between them, Matt Parkman and Hiro Nakamura, set up by Adam Monroe. Monica Dawson is captured by a street gang, and Micah Sanders turns to his mother Niki for help. Maya Herrera learns Sylar's true nature when he kidnaps Molly Walker and Mohinder Suresh. Elle plays the hero to get back into her father's good graces.

Another interesting fact that I got from an exclusive trailer of episode 11 is two heroes are about to fall on the finale. The choices are Nathan, Matt, Claire, Hiro and Elle. And the trailer also shows that Sylar might get his powers back.

So far I'm happy that they still managed to give Heroes a good finale despite the fact they still haven't given justice the season's main purpose. What does Generations mean? We hope we could find the answers this coming week in Heroes.

Kristen Bell in Complex Magazine

If there is a reason why I still watch Heroes despite its shortcomings this season and its sudden season finale, I got only 2 words for all of you. Kristen Bell. Yes, this hot chick from the hit Detective drama Veronica Mars, to the SciFi Thriller movie The Pulse and now to the comic super hero series Heroes as the electric weilding hottie who is definitely one good reason to stay infront of your tv set.

Now, behold Kristen in her Complex Magazine debut. Look at that body and that face. I'm sure no one can resist her unless she will release those bolts of lightning on you. Well, I think a little electricity will not hurt, hehehe.

A Hero or a Monster : A Heroes Feature

Episode 9 do really reveal more and more about the lives of our weekly favorite characters from the series Heroes. After watching this episode, I can't help to think how the production will turn out since Heroes will end this coming December with two more episodes to release. I believe that this series do still have more to offer. Yes, Heroes have shortcomings this Season but Heroes became very close to fans that they even don't care.

I just read this article by John Campea of the Movie Blog where he discusses his disappointments about the current season. What caught my attention is the item that talks about the Boogie man who suppose to be much worse than Sylar (Season 1 Finale). Earlier this season, Molly reveals that the Boogie man is none other than Matt Parkman's fugitive father Maury Parkman. Maury Parkman like his son Matt possesses the ability of hearing people's thoughts. But unlike his son, Maury is an advance telepath where he develops his ability to alter brainwaves and use them to generate hallucinations and Nightmares that can leave his victim in a coma. Maury also exhibits the skill of controlling anyone just by commanding them by the use of Telepathy.

With the abilities above, I have no doubts that he is indeed dangerous and could be a very scary character in Heroes universe. But the fact that Matt just beat him proves that he is not that really strong. Now on the latest episode, Matt shows some improvements on his abilities and now he can do exactly what his father can do. Matt seems to be enjoying his new found powers especially while using it to people (Molly and Angela Petrelli). This is the point that I came to another theory. Matt is one of the most overrated character in the series. No one is not that really excited about him. What if Matt turns to the other side. It is possible. With a bad childhood background and a failed marriage, not to mention the things he carries, the burden inside his mind. Parkman could end up to be the worse villain in the series.

Heroes : Less Exciting this Season

Its been a hard week for me. Just hired on a job that requires more time so I only have time to update you guys with latest news during free hours or whenever I reach home after office hours. Don't worry guys, I've got tons of good stuff in store for everyone so seat tight and enjoy.

Heroes : Less Exciting this Season



Heroes just reached its 7th episode last Monday where almost all the key plots of the Season is already revealed. I will not elaborate anything especially for those who haven't seen the latest episode. But despite the overwhelming response, Heroes Creator and Producer Tim Kring himself is not satisfied on the series' current status. Here is a feature I got from Screen Rant.

Kring sat down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about the show's weak ratings (compared to last year) and the problems with the series. Among the items he mentioned were the romances on the show that didn't work, the slow pace, introducing new characters completely unconnected to the ones we already know and getting to the central focus way too late.

He said that part of the problem is that they assumed that viewers would like the same slow unfolding of the story that they did in season 1 of Heroes... but that as it turns out we just wanted them to get on with the story since we already know the framework and the characters:

"We assumed the audience wanted season 1 — a buildup of intrigue about these characters and the discovery of their powers. We taught [them] to expect a certain kind of storytelling. They wanted adrenaline. We made a mistake"


Kring also thinks (correctly) that they left Hiro in feudal Japan far too long. They definitely could have tied that up more quickly. He says the romance between Hiro and the princess didn't work, but I actually liked the way the relationship served as a catalyst for him to grow up and mature. One thing Kring didn't address was how obvious it was that Kensei is the big, evil villain behind the whole thing. Gotta say I saw that one coming a mile away.

Regarding how new heroes Monica and the incredibly annoying Maya and Alejandro were introduced into the story:

"[they] shouldn't have been introduced in separate story lines that felt unattached to the show."

Some of the new heroes won't make it past Volume 2, which wraps up on December 3rd. Hopefully Maya and Alejandro will be among the casualties.

And if you haven't already heard, the December 3rd episode has been tweaked so that it can function as a season finale if necessary due to the increasingly omnipresent writers' strike.

Tim Kring do have good points in there. But for me I will still continue watching heroes no matter what and I'm still hoping that the Writer's strike will soon be settled.

Heroes Season 2 Ends in December

I read this news this morning and I thought it was just a big, huge, stupid joke. But to my dissappointment TV Guide confirmed and validated the news.

"Heroes' second season may be coming to a close a lot sooner than expected due to the forthcoming apocalypse, also known in some circles as the damn writers' strike.

Sources confirm that the show is going back and shooting an alternate ending to the Dec. 3 episode that, if used, would allow the episode to function as a season finale in the event of a strike. Originally, the episode was only supposed to serve as the conclusion of the current "Generations" arc. Should an 11th-hour agreement be reached and a strike averted (fingers crossed!), the alt ending would likely be scrapped.

In related news, the reality of this whole thing is only now hitting me. And I'm not happy."

And according to other related news, this problem is not experienced by Heroes alone. Popular series like Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives will also meet the same fate if the Hollywood Writer's strike can't be stopped.

I hope authorities will fix this mess as soon as possible. I don't want my Claire Bear and Sparky Elle go away for good.

Sparky Kristen Bell in Heroes

Episode 5: Fight or Flight can be one of the best episodes of Heroes Season 2. Obviously because this is the first episode Elle, played by Kristen Bell (most popular on her previous tv drama Veronica Mars) appeared. There are a lot of rumors about Elle's identity before especially the nature of her powers. Oh well, her name really gave it away.

[SPOILERS ALERT]

Elle is a young woman in her 20's who is in search of Peter on behalf of The Company. Her father (yet to be revealed) also works for the Company and appears to be her superior there. Elle can generate and discharge electricity from her hands. She is observed to weld a metal lock using this ability, and can generate enough current to incinerate a human being.

That is so cool. Kristen Bell discharging electrical currents on her hands and zapping everybody who stands on her way. Elle is one rough babe here. Too bad it seems she is not on the side of the good guys.

Oh it doesn't really matter. See more of Kristen in Heroes every Monday 9pm in NBC.
