Christmas bells are indeed ringing now when I opened my Facebook because the cast for the December limited run of Rent is already revealed.
Due to some unfortunate predicaments, some actors are not coming back for this month's run like Ring Antonio, Raul Monteza, Noel Rayos, Cara Barredo, Nicole Asensio, Anna Santamaria and Carla Guevara. So they are replaced by the following:
Sheree Vidal Bautista and Ampy Sietereales as the exotic dancer Mimi Marquez.
After his portrayal of Sammy in The Wedding Singer Musical, Lorenz Martinez is back as
Benjamin "Benny" Coffin III
Mian Dimacali as the smoking hot Maureen Johnson
Pam Imperial and Sab Jose as part of the ensemble
Personally I will never get tired of Rent. Both music and the story tells a lot on life lessons and the characters completely resembles everyone of us on the society.
