From the makers of the blockbuster Despicable Me comes a new comedy that blends state-of-the-art CG animation with live action: Hop. The follow up to Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s worldwide hit tells the story of E.B. (voiced by RUSSELL BRAND of Despicable Me and Get Him to the Greek), the teenage son of the Easter Bunny.

Off the coast of South America, on the island of Rapa Nui fondly known as Easter Island, under the giant stone heads resides the most magnificent candy factory. Three hundred and sixty five days a year, the Easter Bunny reigns over a team of bunnies and chicks who prepare the candy-filled baskets that are delivered to children around the world on Easter morning. On the eve of being ordained as his father’s successor, E.B. takes off for Hollywood in pursuit of his dream of becoming a drummer. Once there, he encounters Fred (JAMES MARSDEN of X-Men, Enchanted), recently fired and determined to pull his life together. After being lovingly kicked out of his parents’ home, he accidentally runs into E.B. Feigning injury and shocking Fred with his ability to talk, E.B. manipulates Fred into providing him shelter. Back on Easter Island, the Easter Bunny’s second in command, an oversized chick named Carlos, seizes upon E.B.’s disappearance as an opportunity to plot a coup. Ultimately, Fred and E.B. are Easter’s only hope and they find themselves returning to Easter Island, locked in an epic battle to save the beloved holiday.

Marsden and Brand are joined by an all-star comedic cast that includes KALEY CUOCO (The Big Bang Theory), HUGH LAURIE (House, M.D.), HANK AZARIA (The Simpsons), GARY COLE (Talladega Nights), ELIZABETH PERKINS (Weeds) and CHELSEA HANDLER (Chelsea Lately). The film is helmed by TIM HILL, director of the blockbuster Alvin and the Chipmunks, and produced by CHRIS MELEDANDRI (Despicable Me, Ice Age, Robots, Ice Age: The Meltdown, Dr. Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!), founder of Illumination Entertainment, and MICHELE IMPERATO STABILE (Alvin and the Chipmunks).

“An animated comedy for smart moviegoers” (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times) that is “like nothing you’ve ever seen” (Peter Travers, Rolling Stone), the hilarious and imaginative RANGO saddles up in a Blu-ray, DVD , and DVD this month from Paramount Home Entertainment. The incomparable Johnny Depp voices Rango, a chameleon living as an ordinary family pet who dreams of being a fearless hero and is challenged to become just that when he inadvertently becomes the sheriff of a lawless desert town called Dirt. Directed by Gore Verbinski, the visionary behind the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, RANGO delighted audiences of all ages, earning more than $230 million worldwide. The film also features the voices of Isla Fisher (Horton Hears A Who!), Abigail Breslin (Kit Kittredge: An American Girl), Ned Beatty (Toy Story 3), Alfred Molina (Spider-Man 2), Bill Nighy (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1), Harry Dean Stanton, (“Big Love”), Ray Winstone (Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull) and Timothy Olyphant (“Justified”).

Throughout history, tales of chivalry have burnished the legends of brave, handsome knights who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. But behind many a hero is a good-for-nothing younger brother trying to stay out of the way of those dragons, evil and trouble in general. Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world as two princes on a daring mission to save their land before their kingdom is destroyed.

Thadeous (McBride) has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people. Tired of being passed over for adventure, adoration and the throne, he's settled for a life of wizard's weed, hard booze and easy maidens. But when Fabious' bride-to-be, Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the king gives his deadbeat son an ultimatum: Man up and help rescue her or get cut off.

Half-assedly embarking upon his first quest, Thadeous joins Favious to trek across the perilous outlands and free the princess. Joined by Isabel (Natalie Portman) - an elusive warrior with a dangerous agenda of her own - the brothers must vanquish horrific creatures and traitorous knights before they can reach Belladonna. If Thadeous can find his inner hero, he can help his brother prevent the destruction of his land. Stay a slacker, and not only does he die a coward, he gets front row seats to the dawn of an all-new Dark Ages.

VIN DIESEL and PAUL WALKER lead a reunion of returning all-stars from every chapter of the explosive franchise built on speed in Fast Five arriving on Blu-ray, DVD and VCD. Newly joined by DWAYNE JOHNSON, they take the series that hooked the world on adrenaline and amp up the action and spectacle on a global scale.

In Fast Five, former cop Brian O’Conner (Walker) partners with ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) in a very unfamiliar place: the opposite side of the law in exotic Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. ELSA PATAKY joins Johnson and returning favorites JORDANA BREWSTER, CHRIS “LUDACRIS” BRIDGES, TYRESE GIBSON, SUNG KANG, GAL GADOT, MATT SCHULZE, TEGO CALDERÓN and DON OMAR in an ultimate high-stakes heist.

The series that first captivated audiences a decade ago with its crew of underground Los Angeles street racers bound by a code of family and loyalty takes its die-hard audience on the biggest thrill ride to date. After blasting through heart-stopping runs in Miami’s race circuit, exposing the insular underworld of Tokyo drifting and rocketing through tunnels hidden underneath the U.S./Mexico border, our heroes are back in action.

There you have it.  Magnavision's latest offering from last month.  I'm sure there is something on that list that you want to grab so go to your nearest video shop and get your copy of your favorite movies.
