Here are just some paparazzi photos from the set of Tom Hooper's Les Miserables Musical adaptation.  The shots feature Hugh Jackman in full costume and makeup as the ex-convict Jean Valjean.  See the photos after the jump.

Official Synopsis:

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

So far so good.  Looking forward for this film.  I'm really less worried about this production since it has a good lineup of people from actors to production crew.  But of course I'm still curious on how will the movie comes out when it is finally finished.  I really hope it is as strong as the stage version.
