A new poster is released by Marvel Studios and Walt Disney for the upcoming Asgardian sequel Thor: The Dark World.  This time we are being served with most of the main Asgardian ensemble including Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Odin (Anthony Hopkins), Heimdall (Idris Elba), Sif (Jaimie Alexander) and the Warriors Three (Stevenson, Levi, Asano).  Joining the royal Asgardian crew is Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), Jane (Natalie Portman) and the crowd favorite Loki (Tom Hiddleston).

In the aftermath of Marvel’s "Thor" and "Marvel’s The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.
