Jungle Fury Blue Jaguar Ranger is a Filipino

Just browsing youtube and I came across some videos of the latest Power Ranger entitled Jungle Fury. When the Blue ranger came into the scene, I can't help but wonder if the actor is a filipino. The height, the facial features, he got to be a filipino. I found this fansite dedicated to him and the biography page confirmed my hunch.

He is Aljin Abella. He appeared in several tv series and movies and Power Rangers Jungle Fury is his big break. Currently studying at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, Aljin made his stage debut in the Melbourne Theatre Company season of The Sapphires followed by the Belvoir St Theatre Company season of the same production. His stage credits include The Fortunes of Richard Mahony and Packing Room Eight. He has studied drama, music, performance and voice with Victorian Youth Theatre, Art House Theatre Company, Joseph Gemeyal, Victoria Jacobs, The Australian Broadway Chorus, Victorian State Singers, Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and Australian Film Television & Radio School. His film and television credits include Just Punishment, Noah & Saskia, Neighbours, Guinevere Jones, Bootleg, Legacy of the Silver Shadow, Blue Heelers, Horace & Tina and High Flyers.
