Just got the news that The Sound of Music will be getting a staging here in Manila on October 2011.  Resorts World in cooperation with Ultimate Entertainment Inc. will now be having auditions this coming weekend for the said production.

The auditions will be held on June 24 and 25 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater from 9:00am to 6:00pm. Interested applicants should prepare the following:

• One song from a Broadway musical (Bring a music sheet or an accompaniment CD)
• Head shots and full-body shots
• A biodata or a resume

I heard that all roles are open so if you are interested to be part of this iconic musical, participate on the audition this weekend and you maybe the one they are looking for.
